What kind of shoes do I need to wear for the class? Do I need shoes?
Generally, we recomment to wear comfy clothes and flat shoes like e.g. Vans. If you don´t have any shoes at all you can also skate without.
I am not staying at KOKUA surfskate house, can I still book a surfskate class?
Yes, you can. All adults are welcome to join a lesson. Just pick your class and time slot on our website — and you’re in.
Do you offer board rental?
Yes, we do. Boards are available to rent during Open Skate hours and Surfskate Nights. Take a class with us? Your board’s already included in the course fee.
Can kids skate in the surfskate training park?
No, right now our surfskate training facility is for adults only.
What is the KOKUA Surfskate Club? How do I sign up as a member?
As a member of the KOKUA Surfskate Club you get access to the surfskate training park and 50% discount on classes offered by KOKUA. You will be able to skate anytime outside class hours. Season Memberships for the 25/26 season (valid until April 30th, 2026) are available now as an early bird offer priced at LKR 50.000. In order to sign up as a member, visit us during opening hours or text us via DM on Instagram before December 3rd.
Do I need to bring my own equipment for the surfskate classes? What should I wear?
No, you don't. For the surfskate classes at KOKUA we provide you with top quality surfskates and pads to keep you save. Just wear comfy clothes and bring flat shoes like e.g. Vans.
